I dry the green tree
Make the dry tree grow
Trees of the field know
I bring down the tall tree
Make the low tree grow
When He says, "I lay it down,"
When He says, "I raise it up,"
All the trees know
That's where the tree will go
And they see, that He
Humbles fault in high tree
I exalt the low
Make the weak grow
And gather where I sow

Dry vast ocean, expanse sea of land
A tarantula ventures rhythm,
Velvet tips strike the sand
Calls to the wild, by unseen hand,
Is the Desert
In moment ones heartbeat is solo
A swarm of excitement passes below
And a century or so
Pulses to escort one not alone,
Is the Desert
A tortoise winking eyes
A bee lends wing to stroke
Fauna opens at sunrise
Mountains hug the skies
Fingers are kissed by butterflies
These are its greetings,
Is the Desert
Gila monster dance upon my side
Lizards turn upon the beckon
Creatures small, tall, none hide
Deer, snake, cattle, and bear
Approach one and all
Fear is displaced, I reckon,
Is the Desert
A feathered baby on my hip tight
One has landed in first wee flight
He is aware when a sparrow falls
Of every creature, small or tall
Where to traverse the riverbed
Is to find an obsidian arrowhead
Is the Desert
Where light of the past
Reflects the future,
Beneath the underlying sands of time
Where temperatures
Disguise timeless skies
Where all of nature is content
The wind swirls where it is sent
Where ever your path is near to His
You, are in, the Desert
You will die in your sin, if you
don't believe
and no one does not sin"
And you became angry with them, with Him
Giving them over to the enemy, saying
My protection, security, would leave
You stumble, first over the not genuine
Taking your eyes from my sky, my cloud, my torch, from me
To where the idols dine
And there, you will choke,
Hand-fed on angels' bread
Unable to believe what Christ said
On what God wrote, when Moses led
Destined alive, but dead
Heart-broke
Loathed, as you chew, what you knew
Without water from the Rock, you're
Hollow, unable to swallow, unwilling to follow,
Unable to talk, a struggle to walk on your feet
I told you, you would die, gagging basics,
Even what infants eat
How then with horses do you expect to compete?
We surrender as your enemy, your offender
Ask your mercy, for clemency
That you raise us
As you did Lazarus
As you did Jesus
You shine on us, the face of Righteousness
And still feed us, with tolerance
Above injustice, above our ignorance
You show us Divinity,
A cord of three
Before our lowliness
That Mercy is with us
You hear us, talk with us
Dwell among us, and lift us
Not as your enemy
You set us free
For He, hung from a tree
For all, for me, for all iniquity
I surrender, not as your enemy
You lift me
Set me free
Make me holy
Humbly, I thank thee
For your bounty
For your Mercy
For Clemency

Do you realize in your heart's eyes,
the meaning of the sunrise?
Do your eyes recognize the artist who keeps painting on the skies?
Can you fathom who twisted the stars, at His will, still that
rotate?
For whom the heavens luster and illuminate?
For whom He sends the prophets and the chariots?
Dries great rivers of our eyes,
Makes the tidal waves?
He is our God who saves!
From the beginning, He breathes
in you to sing
To believe the eagle is uplifted by the wing
The faith to follow through a dream
A whim, to follow Him
To know the tide is certain, will come in.
All of creation is a reflection,
a mirror of our Creator, saying: Life is to observe
Is systemic, cyclic, rhythmic, made deliberate, and to preserve
As a river is to rise and flow
The sun to twinkle, water glow
Are for us to know, they absolutely have a source
That someone planned their course.
Watch a baby sing, the mighty eagle
wing
The garden and the forest grow
All are made to show, that in the end
He lifts us up by chariot,
To sing on lifted wing
He lifts us up by chariot,
That in every good thing your eyes have ever seen
Your heart shall ever know
Is also, the faith to follow
To rise, to climb on eagles' wing
To touch the Everlasting.
